MarinTrust Improver Programme Assessor Training

MarinTrust provided training to assessors in Vietnam on the MarinTrust Improver Programme (MT IP) application procedures and the MarinTrust Fishery Assessment process in relation to FIPs. This session was designed to go through the MT IP application process step by step and also provide context in relation to the multispecies pilot assessment which is relevant in the region. This was also an opportunity for the assessors to provide input for future developments.

MarinTrust welcomes the Gulf of Thailand mixed-trawl fishery as the first project to be accepted as part of its multispecies pilot

The Gulf of Thailand mixed-trawl Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) fishery has been accepted onto the MarinTrust Improver Programme (IP). It is the first FIP accepted onto the IP as part of the multispecies pilot project and is led by the Thailand Sustainable Fisheries Roundtable (TSFR).
